Well here I go one more time!

After the last big hurricane of 2003 wiped out my reef tank I was devastated. I could not even think about starting over from scratch. Well it's been a few years and I'm ready to start over again. I can't wait to dig in. All of you out there who have tanks know this feeling. It's the begining, the planning stages. I get to use the experience of the past mistakes to changes some things in this setup. I hope to be posting some pictures soon. but for now here are some old pictures before the hurricane destroyed my tank. I know its not much, but it was early in the process of becoming something special.

For those new to the reef hobby, you might want to check out Melev’s Reef. I have always been amazed by his reefs. his skill and dedication to the hobby are second to none. This site is a great resource for Reef related topics for beginners and experienced reef keepers. Melev also keeps an up to date log of his own great reef tanks. If you truely want to set up a great reef tank, this site should be a “must read” for you if it isn’t one already. Be prepared to spend a bit of time on this site as he covers a lot of topics and each is a great read.
If you’re thinking of working with acrylic you’ll also find several tutorials to get you started. Melev designs and builds acrylic sumps for which he sells.

It's that time of year again. Merry Christmas. This year I think I will start a Nano reef for Christmas. I am excited about the idea of it. I haven't had a tank up and running for over 2 years so this should be fun. I plan on putting in some live rock and some mushrooms and some Zooanthids also a shrimp and crab. I have not seen this tank in person but it does look nice in the pictures. If anyone has had any experience with a 3 gallon nano drop me a line.

I have been wanting to set up my salt water tank again. This time I am debating weather or not to put it in the wall like the one in this picture. These tanks are beatiful, but I just finish putting In a brand new swimming pool, so I will have to wait until my check book cools off a little bit.If Anyone has tanks of there own to share please feel free to email me or post a link on my page in the comments section.

I love anything to do with the water. fishing, snokeling, keeping an aquarium, Jet sking. I just love being on the water. I live in Florida, the weather is great here most of the year. I haven't done much traveling to other parts of the world so I would love to see some pictures from some reefs in Bali, Thailand, or Hawaii. Email me if tou have some good pictures.
